Earth Day Spotlight

RVCC Earth Day Spotlight

This Earth Day we are focusing on the Monarch Butterfly. Monarchs are a Species at Risk across Canada. Please take a few minutes to read about this beautiful and important species and how you can help in its recovery.


We have also included an activity that you can do with your family at home - growing milkweed plants for monarchs to use
in the coming months. Starting April 26, 2020, we will have a limited number of milkweed seeds available for pick up
from the centre if you are unable to purchase any on your own. To receive the seeds, email us at info@rvcc.ca
with your contact information and we can arrange a day and time for a contactless pick up at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre.
